The following provisions inform you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection, processing, and use of personal data. This Data Protection Statement applies only to our websites and application. If you are forwarded to other websites through links on our sites, please obtain information from these websites in each case about how they handle your data.
• 2 Personal data
We only collect, process, and use personal data, if you have consented to this or if the corresponding legal provisions concerning the protection of your data permit the collection, processing, and use.
• 3 Use for specific purpose
1. We will collect, process, and use the personal data provided with your consent only for the purposes disclosed to you.
2. Your personal data may be collected, processed, and used without your separate consent, if the collection, processing, or use of the data

• 4 Determination of purpose
1. We use the personal data provided by you to reply to your inquiries, process your orders, or provide you with access to certain information or offers.
2. We will neither sell nor otherwise market your personal data to any third parties.
• 5 Communication- or usage-related information
When you access our websites, communication-related information (e.g. Internet protocol addresses) or usage-related information (e.g. information about the commencement of use) may be recorded automatically in some cases due to technical reasons. This information may permit conclusions about personal data. The recording, processing, and use of your communication- or usage-related data occurs only, if this is absolutely necessary and will occur in accordance with the statutory data protection rules.
• 6 Automatically recorded non-personal data
When you access our website, anonymized data is recorded automatically, i.e. data that is not attributed to a specific person (e.g. Internet browser and operating system used; domain name of the website from which you came; number of visits; average staying time; number of pages retrieved). This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and will not allow any conclusions in respect to any specific individual. This data is deleted after it is analyzed.
• 7 Information about “Cookies” / Google Analytics
Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer and which automatically recognize your computer during your next visit. There are two broad categories of cookies – ‘first party cookies’ and ‘third party cookies’. First party cookies are cookies that are served directly by the website operator to your computer and are used only by the website operator to recognize your computer when it revisits that site. Third party cookies are served by a service provider on behalf of the website operator and can be used by the service provider to recognize your computer when it visits other websites. Third party cookies are most commonly used for website analytics.
Instago uses both categories.
Instago uses first party cookies to help us recognize your browser as a previous visitor and save and remember any preferences that may have been set while your browser was visiting our site.
Instago uses also Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses third party cookies. Google Analytics makes it possible to analyze your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf in order to analyze your use of our website, compile reports about your website activities, and provide additional services to us, the website operator, in connection with the website use and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with Google Analytics is not consolidated with other Google data.
Instago does make money by selling referrals from searches on our site. Our third party independent partners often use third party cookies.
You can prevent the storage of the cookies through a corresponding setting in your browser software. You can also set your Internet browser so that it deletes already stored cookies from your computer hard drive, blocks all cookies, or warns you before storing a cookie. We would like to point out, however, that you may not be able to fully use all functions of the website in this case. You may furthermore prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie in connection with Google Analytics that is related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of that data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:
• 8 Use of social network “plug-ins”
These Internet pages use the “plug-ins” of the social networks
–, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA;
–, operated by Pintarest Inc., 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA, 94103, USA;
–, betrieben von Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA;
If you access an Internet page of our Internet presence that uses such a plug-in, a connection to the respective servers of the aforementioned operators is established and the plug-in is shown through a notice to your browser on the Internet page. This transmits to the server of the respective operator, which of our Internet pages you visited. If you are logged in as a member of the respective social network, e.g. Facebook, at the time, the operator of that network, i.e. for example Facebook, allocates this information to your personal user account. When using the plug-in functions (e.g. clicking on the button of the social network), this information is also allocated to your persona user account. You may prevent that only by logging out before using the plug-in.
You can find more detailed information about the collection and use of the data by the respective operator of the social network, your related rights and possibilities for protecting your privacy in the data protection information of Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
• 9 Data secrecy
We take technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorized collection, processing, use, and unauthorized disclosure.
